AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The Institution provides  opportunity of Higher Education to the student community of the region with special focus on rural & economically challenged students and also makes special provision for female students to encourage them for obtaining higher education.

The Institution attempts to create a conducive environment for academic excellence and activism and imparts highly professional and effective academic exposure to the student community. The institution builds up a human resource base by exposing the students to the best possible facilities & services through the college set up. It makes an effort to turn the college into a centre of excellence to incorporate students, scholars, academicians & general community to translate the institutional academic experience into a means of social empowerment as well as enkindles the spirit of service to the people to endeavor towards the uplifting of rural economic life to materialize the ideas: "Where education ends, social responsibilities begins."

The Institution provides modern facilities to the students so that the rural urban divide does not become an impediment of learning & self empowerment. The College has been able to establish itself as one of the major institutions in the Indo-Bangla border region to provide higher education opportunities to the female students of the region who are the most deprived lot in the district.
