Activities

1. The IQAC has organized a state level seminar on Chilarai and Srimanta Sankardev on the 10th October 2006. Prof. U. C. Deka (GU), Dr. N. M. Roy (Pandu College), Dr. Mukul Chakraborty (R. G. Barua College), Dr. Dillip Som(GU) were invited speakers on the occasion. Lecturers from nearby colleges participated in the seminar.

2. It has organized a workshop on folk theatre inviting local folk artists to make presentation on Kushan Gan (a popular folk theatre form of the area). Notable folk artist of our area Hamida Sarkar was a special guest on the occasion. Bhuban Roy and Bharat Chandra Roy  also were also present on the occasion.

3. It has organized a National Seminar on "Masan: the Local Deity" on 4th October '05. Speakers were invited from West Bengal and from different parts of the state of Assam to make deliberations on the topic. Scholars like Dillip Barma, Dr. Nikhilesh Roy (NBU), Mr. Dinesh Roy from Bengal, scholar Depak Kumar Roy from Kokrajhar, Subhash Ch. Chaudhury from Dhubri and scholars from the adjoining colleges participated in the seminar.

4. The IQAC has organized a Panel Discussion on Environment Studies, organized by Current Affair Forum in 2004.

5. It has organized a Poetry Reading Session in 2004 where teachers and students of our college recited their own poems in collaboration with the Literary Circle.

6. It has organized a panel discussion on Film Studies in 2004 in collaboration with the Pramathesh Barua Film Club of Chilarai College.
