The department was established in 2003. The department has 52 cadets. The department at the beginning was run by Mr. Sanjib Kr. Roy, C. T. O. At present Mr. Keramat Ali Sheikh is the existing C. T. O. of the NCC platoon, Chilarai College (CGF/ASD/02) under 7th Assam BN. NCC, Dhubri. The department has its dream to minimise the unemployment problem of the country.

Achivements  

  • The department has qualified 20 cadets for BSF and army in Indian Defense Staff.

  • 3 cadets have got the chance for training in P. R. D. II camp.

  • Many cadets have done the Army attach camp and C. A. T. C. Camp in Umroi, Guwahati, Chapar and in Kokrajhar.

  • 5 cadets have done the N. I. C. camp in Hyderabad.
