Area of Operation    

The Society will be operative among the teaching and non teaching staff of Chilarai College.

  
     
Objectives    

1. The society promotes small savings among its members.
2. Its provides short term and long term loans to the members of the society against a stipulated rate of interest.
3. The society takes up developmental projects in the college annually by deducing part of dividend from each of its member.

  
General Meeting    

1. Each member of the society is eligible to avail loan from the Society
2. Disbursement of loan will be at the sole discretion of the EC.
3. Each member must apply for a loan at least 2 (two) months ahead of the month in which the loan is sought.

  
Sanction of Loans    

1. Each member of the society is eligible to avail loan from the Society.

Rate of Interest    

The rate of interest for loans is at 12% per annum. The rate may be changed by the EC with the approval at the General Meeting as and when required.

  
     
Repayment of Loan    

1. The loan amount will be deducted through Equitable Monthly Installment (EMI) from the salary of the loanee at source.
2. A maximum period of 30 (thirty) months is stipulated as recovery period for repayment of loans.
