The Chilarai College Students' Union has a special portfolio for major and minor games. They organize various sports events annually. The successful students in the sports are offered award in the annual prize distribution ceremony. The students of our college have participated in several important sports tournaments arranged in the district level and on two occasion they have been adjudged as champions. The college has its own playground where games like Volley ball, Badminton, Cricket, Kabbaddi are played time to time. The college does have the requisite sports equipments to meet the need of the sports loving students.

The games that come under major games are generally all outdoor games. A faculty of our college is made in charge to help the major games Secretary to organise those games. Similarly for the minor games there is a teacher in charge to help the minor games Secretary to organise the games, mostly indoor in nature, for the students of the college.

The college has a special games and sports fund, which is collected from the students at the time of their admission and the same fund is utilized to conduct variuos sports events of the college.
